How long will I be able to access my account?
You’ll be able to access your account until March 30, 2022. You may notice some changes to our features in the coming months which you can learn more about below, but you’ll be able to log in and move your funds out until then.
Can I still use my spend card?
Yes, until March 14, 2022 you’ll be able to continue to make purchases with your spend card. After March 14, your Brightside Spend Mastercard will be closed and will no longer work.
The Purchase Assurance and Extended Warranty insurance the Brightside Spend Card offers will end once your Brightside Spend Mastercard is closed.
The last weekly cash back and Friends with Benefits top up payout you will receive will be Friday, February 25.
How do I turn off my savings features?
Until February 24, 2022 you can keep using Round Ups and Save Automagically. If you continue to use Round Ups until February 24, your final weekly deposit to Brightside will take place on February 28. You can also go ahead and turn off your Round Ups and Save Automagically yourself anytime.
How do I move my money out of Brightside?

How do I close my account?
At this time there is nothing you need to do. Our team will take care of your account closure and let you know once it’s been completed in 2022.
What is happening with the Friends with Benefits program Brightside offers?
As we enhance the digital banking experience we offer to ATB clients, we will look at which features Brightside offers that clients have loved and work to make them a part of the ATB Personal app/online banking platform in the future.
