Darn! We want you to get set up so you can start tapping away. Here are a few scenarios that may be causing issues with adding your card to Google Pay.
Terms & Conditions
- Have you accepted the Brightside Terms & Conditions that were presented to you when setting up your Google Pay? This needs to be completed within 30 minutes of starting the process. If it's been more than 30 minutes, please restart the process again.
- Did you receive your activation code via SMS? This code is required to set up Google Pay. The activation code expires after 3 days of being issued. If you didn't receive the code or it's been more than 3 days, please restart the process.
- Have you activated your Brightside Spend Mastercard®? If you haven't yet, you will need to activate your card before you can add it to Google Pay.
- Did you recently replace your Brightside Spend Mastercard®? If you have ordered a new card, you will need to delete your old card first, and add your new card to Google Pay.
